As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Full-Time in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting government locations. In this security-related role, you'll conduct routine armed patrols, remain highly visible to help deter incidents, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with the public and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with a focus on armed presence as required by the post.
  • Monitor for suspicious activities and help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
  • Assist with managing access control and verifying credentials as necessary.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of incidents, patrols, and observations.
  • Communicate promptly with law enforcement and emergency services if required.
  • Remain alert to any changes in the environment and report concerns to Allied Universal management and/or the client representative.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Must possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
