As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Manufacturing in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and delivering outstanding customer service and communication to those on-site. This is a driving post, requiring you to meet AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
• Monitor and report any security-related concerns or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policies.
• Document observations, occurrences, and security-related activities in daily reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
