Job Description


As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver in Cumming, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated tech, media, and telecom locations. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and provide outstanding customer service, while remaining visible to support a welcoming environment. This is a driving-required position, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out access control procedures for authorized individuals entering and exiting the location, following site-specific policies provided by Allied Universal.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to questions and offering assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas using surveillance systems and/or physical presence to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalating as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately in daily reports or logs as required.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence and support site-specific emergency response activities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
