As a Security Professional - Warehouse Patrol in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at logistics and distribution locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or violations of site-specific policies within the logistics and distribution location.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding any incidents, security-related issues, or operational updates during shifts.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency preparedness initiatives by participating in drills and remaining familiar with emergency response procedures relevant to logistics and distribution operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
