What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and staff with access-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site policies as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the logistics and distribution environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal training.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or potential threats.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities to appropriate personnel and/or management.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including guiding personnel during fire drills, evacuations, or other emergency situations.
• Communicate with site management, Allied Universal supervisors, and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
