Job Description


As a Security Armed Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. With your armed guard card/license, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exemplary customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, adhering to emergency response protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or behavior.
  • Monitor access points, screen visitors and personnel as necessary, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptions.
  • Observe and report incidents, hazards, or unusual conditions promptly to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
  • Collaborate with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed to address security-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and/or interventions during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
