Job Description


As a Security Professional - Medical Laboratory Patrol in San Clemente, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location.
  • Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with first responders if needed.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site staff and Allied Universal team members to promote a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
