Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help detect and respond to security-related incidents. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter unwanted activity while fostering a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. In this driving post, you will also interact with others to provide assistance and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed to address security-related situations.
  • Remain alert to conditions that might impact the security-related integrity of the location, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
