As a Patrol Officer in a retail and mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests at the retail or mall location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and reporting any suspicious activities or persons.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with property management and/or local law enforcement as directed in emergency response situations.
• Support lost and found procedures and assist guests or tenants as needed within the retail or mall environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
