As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Campus Patrol in Voorhees, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as required.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and assist visitors as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and/or law enforcement when necessary, while upholding privacy and confidentiality protocols.
  • Support access control processes by verifying identification and maintaining awareness of approved personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
