As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist in Livonia, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment. By remaining highly visible and conducting regular patrols, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor the premises for any unusual activity and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior or activities within the retail environment.
• Assist customers, visitors, and/or staff as needed to help maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the location.
• Document incidents and security-related activities in detailed and accurate reports for management review.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
