As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Part-Time in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and dispatch security-related personnel and resources to address incidents and service calls at the location.
  • Monitor communication channels to receive and relay information regarding security-related events, emergencies, and/or requests for assistance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, communications, and incident reports.
  • Assist with implementing site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and/or location management.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns from on-site staff and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Support incident response by communicating with on-site teams and providing updates as situations evolve.
  • Collaborate with on-site security-related personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain order within the location.
  • Follow emergency response protocols as needed, maintaining composure and problem-solving skills during high-pressure situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
