As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Specialist in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding when appropriate to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service within the location, coordinating communication between on-site personnel and relevant authorities as needed.
  • Monitor access control systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment to help to deter unauthorized activities in the financial institution environment.
  • Document and report all incidents, dispatch activities, and any unusual occurrences according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, clients, and emergency responders to support a secure environment.
  • Remain knowledgeable of site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to a financial institution, adapting response to various scenarios as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A college degree is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
