As a Security Officer in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and staying visible throughout the assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the technology, media, and telecommunications facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal staff.
• Document and maintain detailed reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
• Support emergency response efforts according to established protocols and assist first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
