As a Security Professional – Hospital Morgue Support in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and exceptional communication skills contribute to a positive environment, while you respond to situations as needed and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities applicable to the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism while interacting with staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
  • Assist staff and visitors by providing information and directions as needed within the healthcare location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, or hazards according to site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment in the healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have up-to-date vaccinations as required for hospital environments.
  • Must be able to work in hospital morgue settings as required.
  • Must be able to physically restrain individuals in a hospital environment as required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
