As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming and secure environment for all personnel. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support operations and provide peace of mind, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will enhance the experience of those you assist. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter, monitoring for any unusual activity to help to deter potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with on-site staff and visitors to support a secure environment through presence and communication.
• Maintain thorough and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Remain alert while on duty and communicate any concerns or needs for assistance to supervisory staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
