As a Security Officer - Armed Government Flex Patrol in Long Branch, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while upholding security-related protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location, including interior and exterior perimeters, to help to deter potential threats.
  • Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the premises to help to maintain the integrity of the location.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary based on site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid New Jersey RPO Certificate.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
