As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, contributing to a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting the needs of the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help maintain order and support access control guidelines.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and Allied Universal management.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support emergency response activities as required, following established protocols and instructions from site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments, including morgue areas, as required.
  • Must be able to assist with restraining individuals as necessary in a hospital setting.
  • Vaccinations required for hospital work assignments.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
