Job Description


As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct unarmed patrols at a dynamic transportation location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities will include regular patrols, being visible to promote a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a transportation environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location and its operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized individuals, to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or passengers to provide information and assistance as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to recognize potential security-related threats or hazards in the transportation setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
