As a Security Officer - Unarmed Plant Patrol in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity and/or conditions to management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of security-related incidents, daily activities, and observations as required.
• Work collaboratively with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Support emergency response efforts in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
