As a Security Officer - Logistics Facility Patrol in Bluffton, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to promote a sense of security-related presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and logistics location, including the business and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with controlling access to the location and verifying the credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional security-related tasks as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
