As a Security Professional - Armed Hospital Patrol in Leesburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will respond to incidents as needed, offer assistance, and provide exceptional customer service while working as part of a reliable and caring team that values integrity and innovation. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the healthcare environment.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols related to access control, visitor management, and emergency procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance when needed.
  • Document incidents and activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal policies.
  • Participate in training and drills to remain prepared for emergency and security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
