As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol Driver in Middletown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned tech, media, and telecom locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, keeping in mind the unique environment of a tech, media, and telecom location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and along the perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or unauthorized individuals.
  • Help to deter potential security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and being attentive to surroundings.
  • Document and report any incidents, unusual circumstances, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address situations that arise within the location.
  • Remain alert and ready to respond to alarms, emergencies, or requests for assistance during patrols.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
  • A valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
