As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Financial Institution in Compton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate or criminal activity.
• Monitor access points and check credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, and/or hazardous conditions observed during patrols.
• Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management as needed during busy periods or special events.
• Support law enforcement and emergency responders with information and assistance when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by law.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
