What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned area and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor surroundings for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders as needed, according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed within the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
