Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Patrol Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving position requires you to respond promptly to incidents, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment through teamwork and integrity, embodying Allied Universal's values of reliability, innovation, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems to identify and report unusual activity throughout the location.
  • Coordinate communication between security-related personnel, management, and emergency responders as needed for incidents or critical situations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Assist with the access control process by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points remotely or as directed.
  • Support regular and random patrols by tracking patrol routes and schedules, and providing necessary information to security-related personnel.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from staff, visitors, and vendors, and by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, including notification and coordination with appropriate parties as outlined in location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
