As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Specialist Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer in an advanced aerospace and defense environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and coordinating response activities from a central command post. This armed and driving post requires you to remain alert, communicate clearly with team members, and respond swiftly to incidents as they arise. What You'll Do:

  • Operate as the primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing communications, dispatching appropriate personnel to various locations within the facility as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies involving personnel, property, or assets, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming calls, incidents, and security-related activities within the dispatch center.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries and directions related to access and activities on site.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to relay information and coordinate security-related operations throughout the aerospace and defense location.
  • Assist in monitoring surveillance systems and alarm panels to identify and report unusual or suspicious activities.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with Allied Universal team members to support security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Participate in regular training and briefings to stay updated on emergency response protocols and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Candidates must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
