What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities or security-related breaches.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the manufacturing and industrial site, reporting any suspicious activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of observations, incidents, and activities performed during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
  • Support a secure environment by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with inquiries and providing directions as needed within the industrial setting.
  • Comply with all site-specific policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
