As a Security Professional - Media Patrol in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence on routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication to all visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing questions and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual activity or disturbances as observed during patrols.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding occupants during drills or actual emergencies.
  • Document observations, incidents, and any actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a welcoming and secure environment in a fast-paced tech/media/telecom setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
