As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities location, you will monitor access points and patrol assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols at the utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter and detect irregularities, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
