As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech/Media in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all employees and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your outstanding customer service and communication skills will support a positive experience for everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or conduct, noting any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious persons, activities, or potential hazards within the tech and media environment.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and/or site management to address security-related concerns as they arise.
  • Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
