As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a highly visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with guests and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with on-site needs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits within the location.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while upholding security-related standards of the hotel and resort environment.
• Document incidents and report all security-related matters in accordance with the established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with customer service, access control or badge systems, loss prevention, and using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
