As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol the location to help maintain a secure atmosphere for shoppers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or loss prevention concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to support a welcoming environment for customers and staff while promoting security-related awareness.
• Work closely with site management and Allied Universal team members to address any client needs or concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
