As a Security Officer - Access Control Manufacturing in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, assisting visitors, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and exceptional customer service will create a welcoming environment while supporting overall operations. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets and may respond to alarm panels as needed. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by addressing questions and assisting with directions as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and/or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help to identify and report unusual activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to communicate concerns, relay information, and support ongoing security-related initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
