As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial Institution in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment within a financial institution location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the financial institution.
• Assist in implementing access control procedures and reporting any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and incidents during patrols.
• Support site-specific protocols, including those related to armed security responsibilities, while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
