As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol Rounds in Mount Holly, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and providing a visible presence. Your responsibility will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting staff and visitors, and responding to incidents with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and/or security-related risks.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches in security-related protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Support healthcare staff and visitors by offering guidance and assistance while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
