As a Security Professional - Distribution Center Access Control in Carlisle, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a logistics and distribution location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying relevant parties as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of access control activities, incidents, and any unusual events at the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site protocols.
• Assist with implementing and reinforcing security-related procedures and protocols specific to the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
