Job Description


As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, supports access control, and fosters positive interactions with visitors and staff. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you contribute to a welcoming and professional atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Monitor facility access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
