Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, while maintaining a highly visible presence. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as needed, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a company vehicle. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors while representing Allied Universal at the location.
  • Support the enforcement of site policies, procedures, and regulations as directed by client and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
