Job Description


As a Security Professional - Media Campus Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. Your presence contributes to a secure environment where people and assets are protected. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any irregularities, adapting to the dynamic nature of a tech and media environment.
  • Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or breaches of security-related policies.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents, hazards, or concerns observed during patrols.
  • Document observations, activities, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions or questions while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
