As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech Sector in Homer Glen, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and electronics location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the site, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. Your role involves supporting a secure environment, engaging with staff and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report security-related incidents or hazards, documenting details as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with general inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with site representatives and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
