As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Patrol in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role involves responding to various situations with professionalism and providing excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks or incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe for any irregularities or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Support medical staff and facility personnel in security-related matters as needed, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Document and report all activities, observations, and security-related incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain all necessary certifications required for an armed post in a healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
