Job Description


As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Minnetonka, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will regularly monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals at the location. This position requires driving responsibilities, as you will move between various areas as needed. You will be relied upon to provide excellent customer service and clear communication, always reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including potential medical or emergency situations specific to healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas and the surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or identify hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with staff and visitors in a respectful and professional manner, supporting a welcoming atmosphere in the healthcare setting.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as outlined in site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
