Job Description


As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Site Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will foster a secure environment for employees and visitors. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for any suspicious activity or security-related hazards and report findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential problems and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Complete required documentation of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure work environment.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
  • Remain alert and observant throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and client needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
