What You'll Do:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, including site-specific policies and emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and good judgment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both armed and unarmed as appropriate, around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or authorization of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Collaborate with other security-related personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and maintain order at the location.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license; this is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
