As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in Muskegon, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will help promote a secure and welcoming environment for everyone on site. You will engage in routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and use your communication skills to interact with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor the location for any irregularities or suspicious behavior and report findings in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and maintain a secure environment.
• Document incidents and activities accurately as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Remain alert and ready to respond to unpredictable situations within the chemical or petrochemical location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
