Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Full-Time in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer serving a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff and visitors. In this armed role, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential threats, or hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist in emergency response activities as needed, following location-specific and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and/or residents at the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or residents, providing assistance or information as needed.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
