As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver Auto in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol officer in an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity at the auto location.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as unauthorized persons or unusual activity, to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing helpful directions or information related to site procedures.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as part of regular patrols.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or equivalent license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
