As a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and other team members to maintain a secure environment in a technology and data-driven setting.
• Assist with access control and verification processes to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions in the environment, adapting responses as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
