Job Description


As a Security Officer - Front Desk Healthcare in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors, checking credentials, and managing access to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence at the front desk supports a welcoming environment while maintaining high standards of customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification, and managing sign-in processes as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of the immediate front desk area and report any unusual activities or potential concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with building evacuations or medical emergencies when necessary.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients regarding site procedures and directions.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and/or concerns according to company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a combined minimum of three years of law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
